Canvases
- How is the canvas print made?
- We digitally print onto professional quality primed artist canvas using a flat bed U.V. digital printer (HP turbojet Scitex TJ8500 U.V. digital printer). We stretch mount the canvas onto 40x40mm artist-quality wooden frames using a box-mount. This produces a frame with imaged edges for that ‘gallery look’. The back of our canvases are finished off with white tape, this hides the canvas edge and the staples. Our corners are di cut to ensure they look as neat as possible; this also prevents them from over lapping. Our canvas prints are light weight and come supplied with a bag containing hanging hooks, screws and line.
- Canvas is a natural product so there may be minor inconsistencies in the surface as a result. Please remember that computer monitors always display images with more vibrancy than any printed product, so your canvas will appear paler than what you see on this website.
- Does the image wrap around the canvas?
- Yes, most of the design image wraps around the edge of the frame for a seamless finish to your artwork. However, the Bubblefish, MadMack, Oscar & Sunsetbug all have one colour that surrounds the edge of the frame.
- How long will my canvas last?
- You can expect as long a life from your canvas print as you would from any artwork, provided you treat it well. We print using high quality ink-jet printers using a printer that cures its print with U.V. light. The resulting prints are extremely U.V. durable (i.e. they don’t fade readily when exposed to sunlight).
- How can I hang my canvas print?
- Our canvas prints are lightweight and come supplied with hanging eyelets and string. They do not require much support and generally hardware-store hooks will do the trick. If in doubt, ask a home-handyman.
- Can I customise my canvas print?
- Yes, we offer personalisation of all canvases or we can create a custom print for you. Customisation will incur additional costs, so please email info@livingcolourcreations.com.au with your request and we would be happy to provide you a quote.
- How is the canvas print sent to me?
- The canvas print is wrapped in bubble wrap and inserted into a thick cardboard box and then couriered to you to ensure you receive your living colour creation safely and in excellent condition.
- How heavy is my canvas?
- 30x40cm = (300x400mm) = 750g
50x40cm = (406x508mm) = 900g
60x60cm = (600x600mm) = 1kg
100x50cm = (1016x508mm) = 1250g

- What is the size of the giftcard?
- Cards measure 12.5x18cm and envelope measures 19x13cm
- What material is used in the giftcard?
- Made in Australia from Australian made environmentally friendly paper (70% waste paper, 30% waste cotton) with a pH neutral (photo friendly) surface with a white recycled paper envelope.
