Creating children's artwork and decor to inspire

Kelly Jervis grew up on the Northern Beaches of NSW, Australia and started doing artwork for birthday cards and paintings for family and friends to give as gifts from an early age.
To help support her tertiary studies and business doing set design for music festivals and events, she became a Nanny believing that working with children would bring a crucial balance in her working life. This bought her many rich relationships with children and their families and she started painting canvases for birthday gifts which friends of the families saw and started ordering individual commissions.
Kelly now has her own child which has further inspired her to create her own independent business. She began air brushing to help with her set design business and painting original air brush artwork which appeared in shops across the northern beaches and they quickly sold out through stores making her realize the gap in the children’s artwork market.
More recently, Kelly has started illustrating for a series of children's books and CD's of meditations and affirmations authored by Amy Hamilton. With the already published and distributed Indigo Dreaming (www.indigokidz.com.au) range of books, CD's and affirmation cards they became the top selling in the children's holistic category and have been selling out Australia wide (pictured). The affirmation garden, the next picture book is in production stage and Kelly has several more books in the affirmation garden series that she is working on.
With such a positive reaction to her artwork she has joined forces with her long term friend from high school Geraldine Woo to brand her work and explore the many unique ideas to create "Living Colour Creations".
After completing a Degree at Macquarie University Geraldine started working for Datacom, an Outsource Provider to Microsoft. A few years later she started working directly for Microsoft as Operations Manager for a number of outsource providers across Asia Pacific and moved to Seattle, Washington (USA) to take up a position in Microsoft Head Office. She has since moved back to Australia and held management positions across Solution 6, MYOB and engin.
Geraldine’s background in Business Operations and Customer Experience Management across Australia, Asia and USA together with Kelly’s creativity, provided them the right mix for the making of Living Colour Creations. Both Geraldine and Kelly have travelled extensively across the globe and after living overseas are proud to call Sydney home. The many adventures and experiences gained from their travels have shaped them into the individuals they are today. They are therefore especially proud of the fact that the products they provide to you today are designed and made in Australia.
